Love Makes the World Go Round

Every year many people all over the world celebrate St. Valentine Day. It is one of the favorite holidays, when friends and lovers have a chance to express their gratitude to those whom they love together with exchanging valentine cards, chocolate, flowers and other gifts. On Tuesday 14/02/17 the meeting of the Reading Club was dedicated to reading love sonnets and the abstracts from the tragedies “Hamlet” and “Romeo and Juliet” by one of the greatest poet and playwright of Renaissance period William Shakespeare. The club members had a chance to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the English language of the 16th c. and enjoy the beauty of the literary word.
